Strengths
Dedication and determination are the key strengths that support my readiness for change. My determination enables me to challenge myself by identifying and utilizing hidden talents and opportunities to make me a better person. It also allows me to move forward and face my challenges regardless of their impacts hence, overcoming failure. My dedication maintains my self-discipline, persistence, self-control, and confidence through applying the life principles that boost my maturity levels beyond my peers and deal with situations courageously. Hence, I progress through different ranks and prepare for more considerable challenges in the future.
Weaknesses
My significant weaknesses are; not taking criticism positively and impatience. Blocking positive criticism hinders me from communicating effectively and identifying my mistakes. I know that criticism is a way of obtaining feedback on what I do to others. Hence blocking criticism affects my learning opportunities about my workmates and effective responses to various situations (D’Andrea, 2019). Always thinking that I am right blocks other people’s feedback that can help me become better. My impatience also adversely affects me at work by increasing my anxiety. I cannot perform tasks effectively when subjected to pressure like meeting deadlines or stiff competition.
Opportunities
Teamwork and customer service are the key opportunities that can help me boost my strengths at work. Through teamwork, I can learn effective working ways, develop active listening skills, and inspire my colleagues positively. Customer service can also sharpen my skills in dealing with clients and better use my products and services.
Threats
I can minimize the threats that limit me from embracing change by remaining positive regardless of the situation, accepting help when necessary, knowing my teammates’ strengths and weaknesses, setting goals and strategies, and getting challenges that make me a better person, like promotions.
Change Readiness
Company performance has a direct relationship to human resource performance. Human resource is the driving force in any organization that enables it to achieve its goals and objectives. The efficiency of a workforce is related to their work environment, which in turn enhances their productivity.
