HIS 20 D05/D06 Paper #2
Prof. Seth Offenbach
In essay format, following the rules below, and only using class material, please tell me the story of America.
Please make sure you include facts from both the textbook and Perusall documents. In addition, please include facts from both the 1800s and 1900s.
This question is asking you to think about what theme(s) unify the US and its history. The story can change or progress throughout history, it does not need to be static. It should be simple for you to articulate the story (in the introduction) and you should be able to bring the story up throughout the body paragraphs. The more detailed the paper, and the better your use of the textbook and Perusall information, the higher your grade.
Using outside sources will lower your grade. Having uncited outside sources will result in 0 points awarded. No makeup will be offered to those who use outside sources.
