The service needs to be at the core of the organisation’s offering, as opposed to a complementary offer to a physical good. The choice of service needs to be justified in terms of market opportunity and fit with the organisation’s operations . However, you do not need to consider the financial aspects of the offer, and, in particular, you do not need to show that the service would be profitable. You are expected to draw on the concepts discussed in each seminar, to inform your analysis and recommendations.
