Submission Guidelines
Your assignment submission should be typed, not written/drawn by hand. Submit the electronic copy of your assignment through the subject LMS. Submission after the deadline will incur a penalty of 5% of the available assignment mark per day capped at 5 days. No assignment will be accepted after 5 days. If you have encountered difficulties that lead to late submission or no submission, you should apply for special consideration.
Your Tasks
In Assessment 2, you worked on a project as the Project Manager. Now the project owner wants to see how you are progressing toward achieving those goals. Use a Memorandum heading for this report (instead of a title page) and address it to your client (any template for a memo heading is acceptable). This short progress report should include:
1. Introduction: briefly review the details of your project’s objective, scope and activities.
2. Project progress (work to date):
Specify the current status of the project (accomplished and ongoing tasks in comparison to the project plan) Discuss problems that you’ve encountered, issues that need to be addressed, and what you have done to solve them.
3. Remaining work (work to be done): summarizes what’s to be done next. Specify the time and resources (e.g. budget, etc.) needed for the next step and forecast potential problems you might encounter. Think right on the page in this section, posing questions, speculating meaningfully, exploring your options.
4. Conclusion: summarize the current status of the project, good news, and key problems. State again whether the project will be completed on time and on budget. And, be very clear about what you want your reade to know or do after reading the memo, which makes it easy for your reader to respond.

• Be mindful that this a relative short report (500 words) and try to use a neutral tone. Do not be expressive, underestimating or exaggerating things.
