Assignment 2: Case Analyses (60%)
Please read the case study (Links to an external site.) and analyse some of the OB issues at Krisna Hospital. You are required to write an essay of 1500-words maximum* to address the below questions:
Please explain physicians’ experience in psychological contract breach at the Krisna Hospital and identify the outcomes of the breach. What recommendations would you give to the Krisna Hospital to manage the outcomes?
How do physicians and PCEs differ in their sources of power? Please incorporate relevant research findings to evaluate the effectiveness of different sources of power at Krisna Hospital.
Please identify the main reasons why physicians resist to the PCE program at Krisna Hospital. Imagine you were one of the executive team members three years ago. Please develop a step-by-step plan to implement the PCE program in the light of organisational change theories.

Read the case study and questions carefully before writing the essay.
Introduction: start with a brief introduction that sets the tone of the essay.
Body: answer all 3 questions.
Conclusion: give a brief conclusion to summarise your analyses.
Layout
Use font size 12
Please simply insert the title: “ULMS151 Assignment 2: Case Analyses” and state your word count in the Cover Page. DO NOT include your name or student ID.
The following pages fall under three main sections: Introduction, Body (subdivided by the three questions), and Conclusions.
Double line space the essay.
Harvard referencing both for your in-text and end of text references.
The end-of text reference section (this will be your final page, and your 4th section if you are numbering them) is titled References.
Page numbers (as footers) will help the marker give you feedback
Case analyses tips
ALWAYS, answer the questions in light of theory/OB concepts/evidence – this is an academic essay and not an essay on your personal opinion.
Use resources that are credible and reliable – for example, never cite Wikipedia, tutornotes.com, businessballs.com,… and the likes in an academic essay. When you want to support your argument, go on scholar.google.com (or University Library) and find evidence there.
Be critical in your approach – evaluate actions from the case and use theory and evidence to support your critical appraisal. You are also invited to appraise the used theories.
Do not restate what is in the case. You can use examples from the case to support your point but make sure you use the word count to analyse and answer the questions in relation to OB theories.
