This case assignment is an analysis of a case from the text book on Case Histories in Project Management. You are to read the case twice, the first time to gain a general understanding and then you can read the questions. Thereafter you can reread the case for comprehension and think of the questions that you will answer. You can answer the questions by reviewing the case and looking at materials that are provided to you including: the case itself; the PowerPoint presentation and any of the articles provided for you as required resources.
You should answer the questions deliberately; with thought; drafted in outcome form and then completed as a two page assignment submission Your criteria for grading will be a Rubric that is provided below.
Instructions for Response to the project management case.
The cases provided are to be read as indicated in the first introduction. There are questions at the end of the case assignment that are to be answered by you Your answers should be provided as detailed as possible. An excellent understanding of the case is obtained by careful reading and taking notes as you read through the case. Review the case for the answers that are asked. The questions posed are specific to the case and all of the information that you need is provided within the case. You will be expected to review your other course materials and the literature, including the weekly readings, to help you understand and respond to the questions. If you have any questions, you should ‘Ask the Instructor’ in the discussion board posted for the first week of the class. The syllabus also provides a more advanced rubric for the analysis of cases through your response should be focused on the specific questions to the case and your completeness, length, punctuation and understanding of the subject matter will be the basis of your evaluation as provided by the rubric provided with the assignment. Remember that acquisition of knowledge comes with time and practice. The case history is an effective learning tool and that forms the main objectiluvve of the class demonstration of learning.
