TKAM is a great example of a Bildungsroman, or coming of age story. Explain what a coming of age story is supposed to be, and use the text (i.e, your character development chart notes) to explain how one of the characters fulfills this expectation. Think here: What is the one thing that has to happen for a novel to achieve the distinction of a Bildungsroman?
