COURSE DESCRIPTION
Human Resource Development:
Covers all aspects of modern personnel administration including selection, training, appraisal,
compensation, incentives and discipline. We’re taught from the viewpoint of management
generalists as well as those planning a career in personnel.
The assignment is below:
Each student will write a 5-8 page paper (this does not include the cover page) about
what they learned in the class from reading the textbook (Human Resource Development (2nd Edition)), completing the Innate abilities book (quizzes we took), listening to the lecture, listening to the videos and reviewing the PPT slides. Each student will also indicate how they will use their innate abilities in in their career and will also discuss the components and importance of Employee Development in an HR Department. The Rubric for this assignment is in the Modules.
