What is a ‘Portfolio’?
Your Portfolio will be comprised of a set of entries that are written responses to the guiding questions in this document. While these short answer responses are not the same format as an academic essay, your writing style should be formal and scholarly.
Submission Process
The yellow sections of this template need to be completed as per the instructions provided. Once completed, this document needs to be submitted to the Turnitin link on vUWS.
Task Requirements
- Each of your answers should demonstrate your knowledges of the relevant weekly content and should use the materials from the relevant weekly folders on vUWS, including the reading/s and content covered in workshops
- For each short answer response, you must use at least one academic source.
For some responses, you must draw on the prescribed reading as stated in the question. If a specific reading is not referred to in the question, you may find your own source through independent research. You are also free to use further sources that are academic or otherwise. These may be from relevant subject materials (set readings/additional readings/newspaper articles) and/or an additional source that you have located through independent research (peer-reviewed academic paper or chapter, government reports, newspaper article and ABS data etc).
- All information that is used in each short answer response must be cited. This includes in-text citations and a reference list at the end of each response.
Use the pages of this document to complete your written responses to submit to Turnitin.
