In the period 1900 to 2001, people and states around the world adopted political ideologies such as communism, fascism, or nationalism to challenge the existing political and/or social order.
1. Develop an argument that evaluates how one or more of these political ideologies challenged the existing political and/or social order.
You will write a paper consisting of:
A title page with your name, course number and course title, instructor’s name, submission date, and title of your paper
An introduction and thesis statement (the main idea of your paper)
A body (about 3 paragraphs, not including of your introduction and conclusion)
A conclusion that will restate your main argument with some afterthoughts.
A bibliography or citation page that includes at least 3 sources you used to write your paper
The Written Assignment is due the last day of class.
This assignment must be uploaded to this folder before you take the Final Exam, and it is due on April 21.
This short paper must be a minimum of 700 words long, double-spaced, and typed in Times New Roman 12-point font.
You must consult a minimum of two academically credible sources. (Please note that webpages such as Wikipedia or history.com do not count as creditable sources.)
Your paper and your bibliography and citations may be in APA, MLA, or Chicago Style format—whatever format you feel comfortable.
If you use any of the information from your sources word-for-word, you must cite the source by using endnotes, footnotes, or parenthetical citations. If you read the information and write it in your own words, and the information is not common knowledge, then you must cite the source because you are paraphrasing someone else’s information.
While composing your paper, use proper English. Do not use abbreviations, contractions, passive voice, or first or second person (e.g., I, you, we, our). Before submitting your paper, check your grammar and use spellcheck. Remember, the way you talk is not the way you write a paper. You have plenty of time to work on the paper and, if you type a paragraph or even a sentence each day starting from today, you should be able to create a great paper.
