Research Proposal
Core Task
You will develop a 3.000-word (+/- 10% tolerance) research proposal.
This will be based on a contemporary management or marketing challenge of your choosing that is suitable for further research as well as being relevant to your programme of study.
Your proposal will include a review of relevant literature and practice to demonstrate your awareness of what is already known (the body of knowledge). It should demonstrate that you have developed an insight into the contemporary marketing and management problems and issues within your subject and the creative vision to work across relevant themes.
You must evaluate the relevance and applicability of different research methods and create a valid and convincing research proposal.
Learning Outcomes
Learning Outcome 1– Critically evaluate the uses and limitations of a range of research methods/techniques, based on the suitability to any given research project.
Learning Outcome 2 – Apply knowledge of primary and secondary research methods to design a research methodology
Learning Outcome 3 – Propose a realistic and relevant research plan.
