Currently, the company does not have any experience of international business operations and it has to probe and investigate the global business environment to finalise its decision of expansion. The company’s CEO assigned you to write a report proposing an international strategy for the company in a particular given market. You should explain how the company should enter and build a competitive advantage in the foreign market.
In part 1, you will need to produce a report which includes the following:
• Introduce the organisation and analyse key factors of market, environment and competition in the global business environment.
• Critically analyse the key opportunities and challenges for the organisation of your choice when expanding operations abroad.
• Evaluate the complexity of strategic challenges including associated risks, diversification and supply chain flow faced by organisations when operating in a global environment.
• Critically evaluate the external and internal environment for the company and suggest a suitable foreign market. Justify your answers with relevant examples.
Submission Format: Part 2
The assessment is in the form of an individual written report.
• Write in a concise, formal business style using single spacing and font size 12.
• You are required to make use of headings, paragraphs and subsections
• All work must be supported with research and referenced using the Harvard referencing system.
• Provide a bibliography using the Harvard referencing system.
• The recommended word limit is between 1500 words.
