In this module you will submit a rough draft of your methodology section (Chapter 3 of your research proposal) in order to receive feedback from your instructor prior to submitting your final methodology section with your proposal. Your methods section should have the following sections that are organized with the below headings (in bold). Additionally, each of the below sections should be at least one full paragraph in length, but can be as long as you need them to be.

-Introduction paragraph: Including a restatement of your research question and hypothesis (both null and alternative)

-Participants: What does your sample look like?

-Setting: Where will your experiment be conducted?

-Instruments: How are you going to measure your dependent variable?

-Procedures: Including recruitment, data collection, and data analysis; this is the recipe for how your entire study will be conducted from beginning to end (this section should now be written in paragraph format rather than a numbered list).

-Ethical considerations: Make sure you include a discussion of what will be included in your informed consent, how you will protect your participants from harm, and how you will deal with deception if you are using deception.
