To evidence, think about a time/s where you used that skill with positive results – why you used it, how you used it and what happened because of it.
5. Describe the areas) that you think you need to work on. Some questions to consider include:
• What is important to you about this learning need? Why are you interested in working on this learning need?
o What prior knowledge or skills do you currently have related to the learning need? What knowledge or skills do you need to develop related to your learning need?
• What is your current assessment of where you are with this knowledge or skills (i.e. novice, beginner, intermediate, advanced, or mastery)?
• What are some challenges you might face in achieving your learning need?
6. Having identified a relevant learning need, the next step is to refine this need into a specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound learning goal.
This section should include one SMART learning goal related to your learning need.
7. Describe the learning activities that you plan to complete to meet your learning goal and include a rationale for the proposed activities. Detail the strategies and resources you will need.
