Assessment of Learning: Teacher-marked Where to expand next? You are a quarter of the way through this course. This is an Assessment of Learning, which is used to evaluate your work based on established criteria and to assign a mark. Your teacher will provide you with feedback and a mark. This Assessment of Learning is worth 12% of your final mark for the course. There are three tasks in this Assessment of Learning. Task 1: Choose a country • Blue Line Hockey Sticks wants to expand internationally. Select a country for Dap that you suspect might be a good location for Blue Line Hockey Sticks to expand into. • The country you select is up to you. However, it must be one that currently trades with Canada, and it cannot be the United States. When choosing, think about which countries have consumers that would be interested in buying hockey sticks. Task 2: Create either a business report or a presentation Prepare either a written business report or a visual presentation for Dap about the country you chose as a good location for the expansion of Blue Line. Bold text start If you are creating a business presentation: Bold text End Use PowerPoint or Google Slides. • Follow the tips for creating effective presentations. • Include a minimum of 20 slides, including a title slide and a slide with your references. • Write a script of what you would say as each slide appears on the screen. You can write and save this script in the notes section /(“Click to add notesâ€) below each slide. Write in full sentences. Task 3: Research, plan, and design your report or presentation Whether you choose to do a slide show or a written report, you must include all of the items included in these “Instructions for LA 1.5 Assessment of Learning (Opens in new window) .†Feedback You will receive three kinds of feedback: • Your teacher will highlight the phrases in the rubric that best describe your assignment to show you how you have done. • Your teacher will also provide you with detailed comments about the strengths of your assignment, the areas of the assignment that were weaker than others, and what you should do before submitting another assignment like this one. • The final piece of feedback that you will receive will be your mark.
