The objective of the project:
a. Expand your knowledge on performing RF design for a wireless communication network in an indoor environment.
b. Understand the difference between noise-limited systems and interference-limited systems.
c. Understand the concept of cell-association highest received power.
d. Understand the need for interference coordination in radio network access.
Equipment and Software:
a. Computers with Windows® or other operating systems
b. MATLAB
c. Internet access
Prerequisites
This project assumes that students are aware of basic concepts:
a. Wireless communications.
b. LTE system.
c. MATLAB.
General instructions:
The group report should be a word file, 10 pages with small margins, Times Roman and 10 point font. The report should have a cover page that indicates group name, team members, who did what and contribution to the work completed, report and attached files.
The report should have all matlab code as appendix. The report should be uploaded as a PDF.
Separate to the report all matlab code as text files, matlab outputs (screen grabs, images, etc.) and other material are to be uploaded using a zip file.
Do not discuss your group work or show a draft report to members of another group. Similarities will result in lower marks.
