Assignment 1.1
As professionals, implementing information technology best strategies in support of the goals of the organization should be based on a foundation of diligence and planning. Proverbs 21:5(new tab) says, “The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes to poverty” (English Standard Version, 2001/2016). This perspective is shared by God’s Word, emphasizing thorough and diligent planning. When we follow the wisdom of God, we are rewarded for our obedience.

1. Review the material in the section above, including the specific Bible passages.
2. Be sure to address the following prompts and requirements in your paper:
· Why would hastiness lead to “poverty,” as the verse says?
· Considering your cultural and religious background, what is your personal view regarding making thorough plans? Explain your opinion and provide examples, if possible.
· How would you avoid this dilemma in developing a project like the topic you have selected for the capstone?
· Your paper should be at least 250 words in length.
Assignment 2.1
We can learn from history. As you begin the development of your project, consider 1 Corinthians 10:11(new tab) that states, “Now these things happened to them as an example, and were written down for our instruction, upon whom the ends of the ages have come” (New American Standard Bible, 1960/2020). The early Christian church experienced events that were written down to provide future guidance moving forward. Ancient Israel received words of wisdom. Proverbs 1:5(new tab) says, “Let the wise hear and increase in learning, and the one who understands obtain guidance” (English Standard Version, 2001/2016). Proverbs 9:9(new tab) restates the call to wisdom: “Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser; teach a righteous man, and he will increase in learning” (English Standard Version, 2001/2016). The wise, the Bible says, learn from instruction. In our project, we are sharing wisdom from our program coursework. Wisdom has been accumulated from a better understanding of the field of technology and from the Christian worldview we have been learning about in each course.

· Explain your opinion and provide examples if possible.
· Your paper should be at least 250 words in length.
Assignment 3.1
We have started a major project that we will complete by the end of the course. 2 Timothy 4:7(new tab), in talking about addressing work that lies before us with virtue, says, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” (New International Version, 1973/2011). We are encouraged to move forward until the work is done, but how do we find the strength to carry on? Again, God’s Word provides an answer. The Apostle Paul said he found his strength in looking to God as his encouragement. “I can do all things through him who strengthens me” (English Standard Version, 2001/2016, Philippians 4:13(new tab)).

· Your paper should be at least 250 words in length.
Assignment 4.1
We are moving through the capstone quickly. There are a lot of things to complete for this course. One thing we should remember is to do our best. Colossians 3:17(new tab) says, “And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him” (English Standard Version, 2001/2016). The Apostle Paul was encouraging the church at Colossae to put their whole being into the work they were doing and give thanks in all they do. We should be stimulated to do the same in this endeavor.

· Your paper should be at least 250 words in length.
Assignment 5.1
We are called to be diligent and get the job done. Philippians 3:14(new tab) says, “I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus” (English Standard Version, 2001/2016). We are to press forward, be diligent, and carry through to the end. That applies to every area of our lives. The Bible calls us to press on with our faith. We can apply that to other areas of daily life.

Assignment 6.1
We are in the last workshop of this course and of your degree program as well. You have been persistent and are about to finish. Even God’s Word has something to say about completing what we start: “Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him” (English Standard Version, 2001/2016, James 1:12(new tab)).
The writer of the book of James from the Bible is talking about faith and our reward of an eternity with Him, God, in Heaven. It also says something about completing any task or project, even life, that we take on with serious intent.
