In order to address the issue more pro-actively, you have been partnered with the Midwest Director of Assets Protection, Jillian Banks, to examine connections between Assets Protection and Human Resource Management. In particular, Director feels like talent management metrics may sometime serve as a leading indicator to Assets Protection outcomes. Furthermore, she believes the position of Assets Protection Team Leader as an essential talent management link to managing the surge in crime. She believes turnover and retention have become more of issue with this position. She also believes it has been hard to retain high performing employees in this role. However, she would like to develop more evidence that this is the case and determine if some HR metrics for Assets Protection might serve as leading indicators for the relative success of Assets Protection, based on the metrics they use.
