a thoughtful reflection of what you learned this semester. You can write about any aspect/s of the class as long as you cite specific examples from the readings and films. It may be useful to think about the larger themes we covered – the Origins and Praxis of African American Studies, Mass Incarceration, Black Power and Civil Rights, Race in the United etc. What made the biggest impact on you, and why? These are simply suggestions, but you are more than welcome to use them.
