Read the article by Butler (2021) located in the additional resources. Utilizing creativity, develop a 1–2-minute elevator speech that identifies the following criteria.

  • Identify who you are and your goal in applying leadership skills to your nursing profession.
  • Define emotional intelligence
  • Discuss the role of emotional intelligence in nursing leadership
  • Recognize the impact of team culture when emotional intelligence is utilized

Practice the elevator speech several times prior to uploading your work. Your video will be evaluated for content, creativity, and professionalism. Ensure that your speech is between 1-2 minutes in length, and you are professionally dressed in your video. Use a recording platform of your choice, and save the recording as a link or MP4.
