Assignment Details:

Produce an essay outlining the use of GM plants to produce a product with a human or animal health application.

I will accept any reasonable example(s) as the subject, but please try to select a subject that has progressed beyond the “laboratory” stage.

The essay should be approximately 2000 words in length – I will accept between 1500 and 2200 words. Please include the word‐count.

You are advised to subdivide your essay into sections including an Introduction and Discussion/conclusions.

Please cite your references using the style in one of the major journals (for example Cell or Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences USA). The reference list is not included in the word limit.
