A. Objective
This project assesses students’ understanding in the following areas.
1. The physical air cargo flow from origin to destination.
2. The roles and responsibilities of the various stakeholders (service providers).
3. The handling and storage requirements for different cargo commodities.
B. Description
Select ONE commodity type from the list in Part 6. Analyze the different responsibilities of the stakeholders: shipper, air carrier origin/destination ground handler, and origin/destination freight forwarder in delivering the cargo from origin to destination.
You should present the responsibilities according to the following handling requirements: (a) transport, (b) packing, (c) documentation, and (d) storage for each commodity type, where applicable.
