1. develop a concept/pitch for a new, adapted, remade, or rebooted children’s program. 2. in your pitch of this program, use the lessons we have learned about how the economy of children’s programming has developed to meet the needs of new audiences by connecting your concept to the larger history of children’s media audiences as it is discussed by Edwards, Blue, Banet-Weiser, Potter, and de Bruin-Mole. (You may also use readings from earlier weeks to help you frame your new, adapted, or rebooted property). Since you don’t have the space to discuss all of them, choose the ones inform your thinking about your new concept the most.
Areas to be assessed in this assignment:
Reading, explaining, and applying key concepts to your idea for a children’s program;
The ability to construct a narrowly focused and well-supported claim about your concept;
