Write a research paper on Cerebral Palsy. My oldest child, my daughter, has Cerebral Palsy;
therefore, it is a research topic near and dear to my heart, and one that I’m passionate about others knowing
more about, and continued research being done to both help prevent CP, and help those living with CP.
Cerebral Palsy, like autism, is a spectrum – it can be very severe, to less severe – it is not ‘a one size fits all’
kind of disorder. I look forward to researching and informing everyone on Cerebral Palsy!
Proposal for research paper –
Proposed Topic: Cerebral Palsy
Tentative Thesis Statement: Studying Cerebral Palsy is one the most important components in the still
developing field of understanding this condition. Considerable resources have been applied to help the
individual that has CP, and also their families – who are often the caregivers.
Intended Audience: Anyone wanting to learn more about Cerebral Palsy, its effects on the individual and the
families, Cerebral Palsy’s causes and symptoms, and the continuing studies being done to help understand
and treat the condition.
