Growth and Enumeration of Bacteria

I need to write an introduction for my formal lab report on the growth and enumeration of bacteria. It must explain a good understanding of the overall goal of the lab, an explanation of the objectives achieved throughout the experiment, and background information on the different methods used. I have attached all the information that was involved in this experiment. Must include at least 3 references.

I have already completed every other part of the essay, I just need someone to help with the Introduction as I want it to be informative and thorough.
