Identify participants, selection criteria and the location or setting relevant to your participants. The candidate will identify and describe participants for the study. Discuss the criteria for selecting those participants (i.e., what characteristics do they possess that make them suitable for the area of investigation) and the process by which they were selected (such as random sampling, snowball, etc.); provide the number of participants in the study, including any important distinctions existing between them (e.g., gender or ethnicity). Describe the location of the participants. Provide a detailed description of the setting and/or location. The area around the location and appropriate demographics. Note for a theoretical study the participants and location you may summarize the participants and locations of studies in your systematic review OR you may make the types of articles you are reviewing the subject of this section. 1 page.
