In recent years international events have been associated with the aim of ‘social inclusion’. Choosing an event of your choice (for example, an Olympic Games, an EU Capital of Culture programme, a UK City of Culture Programme, an internaltional music event) critically consider the extent to which, and ways in which, events can meet the aim of social inclusion.
