#3) Think about how you might need more information about what packaged software exist, or what outsourcing vendors exist • Think about, would you use a RFP, FRI or RFQ?  Since you can’t really do that here, is it ok for you to make up some assumptions as you try to complete your alternatives matrix#4) Look in the file I’ve posted, there are ballpark costs to run IT in a company owned datacenter with employees supporting it.  Research Cloud based services (e.g. Amazon, Microsoft Azure, etc).  How do they compare? Think about the which technologies we can use.  How does Cloud services factory. What are the costs compared to in-house solutions, in terms of overall Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)?  Support, costs of owning and maintaining hardware, versus outsourcing to Cloud?  The costs associated with the different management aspects.
