To begin this assignment, read through this week’s learning materials and watch the Youtube Videos, and then read Case Study: Should He Be Fired For That Facebook Post?
Your assignment is as follows: Write a 2-3 page analysis, not including title and reference pages, of the case study.
A case study analysis IS NOT a summary of the assigned case study. A case study analysis requires you to investigate a business problem, examine the alternative solutions, and propose the most effective solution using supporting evidence.
Before you begin writing, follow these guidelines to help you prepare and understand the case study:
Read and examine the case thoroughly
Take notes, highlight relevant facts, underline key problems.
Focus your analysis
Identify two to five key problems
Why do they exist?
How do they impact the organization?
Who is responsible for them?
Uncover possible solutions
Review course readings, discussions, outside research, your experience.
Select the best solution
Consider strong supporting evidence, pros, and cons: is this solution realistic?
Your case study should be formatted with the following sections: introduction, background (could be a brief summary of the case study), alternatives, the proposed solution(s), and conclusion. You are also required to follow APA 7th ed. guidelines in your written analysis.
