International organizations such as the EU, OECD, and World Bank are increasingly influential both in terms of setting the context for policy development, but also in respect of the organization and management of public administrations.

As well as encouraging isomorphic behavior and advocating concepts concerning public policy implementation and control, they also influence government decision-making. In this lecture, we explore the role played by these organizations and some of their effects on domestic public administrations.
