Introduction: Brief summary of the play and your thesis statement, is he mad or not (8-10 sen)
Body: Summary and analysis. You need to find at least three examples of Hamlet’s madness over the course of the play (beginning, middle, end). For each example, you need to do the following:
1) provide context (What led up to the example?)
2) brief summary (What does he say in the example?)
3) connection to state of mind (What is Hamlet’s mindset? How does he feel?)
Conclusion: How does everything you said in your analysis connect to the play’s tragic ending? Pull from your various points in the body paragraphs to show how his constant changing moods/feelings led to the final tragedy and present your final conclusion to the question, is Hamlet mad?
