Application of a Literary Theory to Your Analysis of the text “Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro” Paragraph 1: Briefly introduce the text you plan to write about (Bennett or Ishiguro) and a working argumentative literary thesis. Then briefly summarize the literary theory you have chosen (see the Literary Theories PDF) to apply to this text. Paragraphs 2-4: Pick 3 passages from the novel you have chosen and explain what you think is going on in the passage, then describe how the literary theory you have chosen could be applied to that passage. Use at least one specific quote per paragraph. Paragraph 5: Summarize what you’ve covered with the passages you have selected and how they illustrate your theory, and how you feel the literary theory you have chosen has highlighted or expanded your analysis.
