This project will require you to critically evaluate weaknesses in the popular literature, synthesize findings from the scientific literature, and produce a practical (and valid) guide to relationships.
For your final paper you will be required to find a self-help or marriage/relationship book of your choice that gives specific advice on how to behave in a romantic relationship. You must use readings from the course and empirical research to support your argument.
Write 3-4 pages of text containing specific corrections of that advice (or maybe support of the advice, if the book happened to get it right). At least one of your articles should be an investigation of cultural or gender variables.
