Kenneth Martin RE: 6.2 Discussions Social Networking outline: Strength: This outline provides a great list of reasons that both support the claim and refute it. Both supports and rebuttal evidence are strong and have a lot to discuss that could create a great paper to write about. Weakness: The outline lacks a conclusion which is an important part of the paper since this is how the writer will explain the paper’s overall importance. The Gender Wage Gap outline: Strength: The outline includes a full sample of what the final paper will look like. The outline includes an intro, claim, supporting and refuting reasons, and a claim which can ultimately guide the writer to be successful in this paper. Weakness: Reason six lacks content thus making it difficult to discuss in the actual essay. I believe that the second outline is a stronger outline for writers since it mirrors exactly how they want their essay to look. An outline that has all the parts of an essay in a shorter version will make it easier and less stressful to complete the final paper which should be followed by anyone who wishes to conduct a rigorous paper to write about.
