RESM610 Research Methods : Survey Instrument Development

• This research paper is a continuation of VLab Activities 1 and 2. The main part of this paper for evaluation starts from the third section “Methodology”.
To make the research paper complete and consistent, you will still write the Title,Introduction and Literature Review section. If you would like to make any changes and improvements in these, you can do so. Obviously, there will be similarity, but do not worry as this will not be counted.

 

Your Full paper structure will more likely have following headings and sub-headings.
Title (As in Vlab 1 activity or improvement if you want) Abstract (You will add about a 150-250 words abstract, which you will write after completing the full paper)
1. Introduction Section (As in Vlab 1 activity or improvement if you want)

 

2. Literature Review, Framework, hypotheses (As in Vlab 2 activity or improvement if you want)

 

3. Research Methodology

a. You may want to show a background information of country setting and relevant issue related to your topic
b. Questionnaire or survey instrument development ( a sample of questionnaire to be attached in Appendix. The source of scale selection, description of final questionnaire, etc
c. Sampling process. The population of your study description, sample selection process
d. Data collection methodology. The data can be limited given time constraints. You can state any limitations. Final size of data.

 

4. Analysis, description of your sample. Any reliability and validity test you undertook?

The results of your analysis shown in Tables. Any hypotheses tests? Do not use any pie charts or irrelevant figures.

 

5. Discussion and Implications : The Discussion commonly features a summary of the results that were obtained in the study, describes how those results address the topic under investigation and/or the issues that the research was designed to address.
What is the significance of your results? Expand upon the implications of those findings.

 

6. Conclusion: Limitations and directions for future research are also commonly addressed.

 

7. References: Follow any ONE style Harvard or APA, consistently throughout the paper.
