Review the four ethical principles outlined by Upshur (2002) as found on pages 166 of your textbook (Stanhope et al., 2017) and in the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA, February 2006) article. Discuss how you can see the application of these principles in the COVID 19 public health actions. You may find it helpful to review the measures the Government of Canada and the Provincial/Territorial Government where you live imposed to reduce the rate of infections in preparation for the discussion. Do you see any time when nurses may experience ethical dilemmas as they try to uphold other ethical principles described in Chapter 6 of Stanhope et al. (2017) at the same time as upholding the principles for justification of public health interventions? If so, explain your answer.
