Students may write an optional extra credit book assignment. A student may receive between 1-5 points, depending on paper quality.

Paper Requirements: 1-page single space book review. No plagiarism with original writing only. Please include a short summary (1/2 page) of the optional book. Then write a a critical analysis (1/2 page). In the critical analysis, students need to integrate course materials and show connections between the optional book and course materials. Select 2 examples from required course reading and 2 examples from either class lecture and/or movies for a total of four (4) examples. Correct citations (MLA or AAA) is required in both the paper body and at end of paper.
(If you use APA , APA is double spaced and your paper will need to be 2 pages – 1 page summary and 1 page analysis)
