The Covid-19 pandemic, which is also recognized as the Coronavirus pandemic, is an ongoing pandemic that was first discovered in Wuhan, China in December 2019 and later declared a public health emergency pandemic outbreak by the World Health Organization. Ever since the outbreak of the pandemic, there has been a record of about 20,874,530 active cases and 2,7750,640 deaths that have been reported globally. The rise in infections and death as a result of the outbreak of this pandemic, lead the World health organization to ordered a worldwide lockdown intending to curb the pandemic. The Public gatherings, which includes religious gatherings, became unlawful.
The church was among the highest affected public gathering locations, and as a result forced church congregation across the globe to spend time at home. In this study, we analyze the impact of Covid -19 on church attendance and the congregations’ response to the technological approach. We seek to analyze how Covid-19 has changed the lives of congregations across the United States following the ever-changing technology. This is an IT project and it should be IT focused.
