Taking Action

Instructions: From the chapter of your choice where the actions of a nurse activist (“Taking Action”) are described, answer the following questions:

1    What interests you about this chapter (post page numbers)?

2  Describe the role of the nurse activist?

3  What problems were encountered?

4 What might have you done differently?

5 Would you suggest another policy as an outcome? If yes, what would it be? If no, why not?

Please use chapter 48, which is pages 849-863 to answer the questions. Also use for in cite citation (APA format). Please use Book as reference. Use 2 addition references to support if possible, from a peer-reviewed nursing journal in the US within the past 5 years.
