This Discussion Board Forum relates to Social Class and Stratification, Chapter 8. Please discuss how, as sociologists, we should define “social class”. Keep in mind two things: 1) it must be an intellectually useful definition that we can apply to everyday life; and 2) it must be something we can measure if we wanted to do research on social class. (In other words, “upper class people are those who dress well” is not very useful, since we might have different definitions of “dress well”…)
