1. In chapter 1 Chinn and Kramer discuss how nursing knowledge (on an individual level) can provide self-identity and confidence. In your own words elaborate on this statement. In your response:
a) provide an example that supports this claim and
b) discuss how this statement reflects the internal processes (e.g., motivation) involved in obtaining the skill-sets of a DNP prepared nurse to lead change.
2. Identify at least two current trends in healthcare (globally, at your own organization, etc) that may be impacting knowledge development. How might these trends either positively or negatively influence future nursing care?
