Thread: Last week, you studied the Islamic legal tradition and read an article regarding the duality of the Qatar system. This week, you also read about the common law legal tradition and the ethic of adjudication. Now that you have had time to think about the Islamic legal tradition, the common law legal tradition, and the Qatar system, explain how Qatar’s dual system may share aspects of the Islamic and common law traditions and may follow the admonition from Jesus that Christians are to “[r]ender to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s” (Mark 12:17).
