Assignment Instructions
Measure and draw a two-dimensional sketch of your classroom or a room in your house, listing the exact dimensions in feet or meters. Then, draw a miniature version of the same room using the scale factor of 1/50. Explain why the two pictures are “similar” using the terms: angles, lengths, and proportions.
Note:
The first drawing is a rough sketch: For this drawing, put the actual dimensions of your classroom or room in your house (i.e. depending on the one you are drawing).
The second drawing needs to be drawn using a scale factor of 1/50: For this drawing, put the dimensions using the scale factor of 1/50 of the actual dimensions of your classroom or room in your house.
