At Discuss the political, economic, and ideological reasons for the outbreak of the American Revolution and the Civil War. After your analysis of this information, answer the following questions: What makes the Confederates’ cause for freedom different from the American colonist’s cause for freedom? How was the Union any different than England was during the wars? Why was the American colonists and their war for independence considered Patriots while the Confederates and their war for independence were considered rebels?
