Walker-“going rate”

This week Walker (book sense and nonsense 8 ediction) introduces the concept of the “going rate” within the
criminal justice system. Do you think the the going rate, as described, is real and is it fair? What do think of the
suggestion that we have a “administrative system” of justice rather than a “adversarial system” of justice in the
United States? Do you have any recommendations, which we could apply within the CJS, to increase fairness?
